STRETCH THERAPY
Stretch Therapy info:
-
Stretch therapy at Be Nice isn't about forcing your body into bigger ranges of motion. It's about helping your nervous system feel safe enough to let go of unnecessary tension.
Whether you're stiff from sitting, sore from workouts, overwhelmed by stress, or just craving an hour where someone takes care of you, you're in the right place.
No flexibility required. Seriously.
-
Each session is completely customized to you.
We'll start with a quick conversation about:
How your body has been feeling
Any injuries, surgeries, or health conditions
Areas you'd like to focus on
Your goals (less pain, better mobility, relaxation, athletic performance, etc.)
From there, you'll relax on a comfortable treatment table while I guide your body through gentle assisted stretches, mobility work, breathing, and nervous-system regulation techniques.
You don't have to "help." You get to simply breathe.
Some people leave feeling lighter.
Some feel taller.
Some finally realize how much tension they've been carrying.Every body responds differently—and that's okay.
-

Come hydrated.
Try not to rush in at the last minute.
Take a few slow breaths before we begin.
Be honest about what you're feeling.
Remember:
Stretch therapy should never feel like punishment.
There's a huge difference between productive sensation and pain, and we'll communicate throughout the entire session.
-
Many clients notice:
• Easier movement
• Reduced tension
• Better posture
• Deeper breathing
• More body awareness
• A calmer nervous system
Some people also feel pleasantly tired afterward, similar to after a massage or yoga class.
Drink water and enjoy the rest of your day if you can.
-
Stretch therapy is not massage therapy or chiropractic care.
I don't diagnose or treat medical conditions.
If you're experiencing acute pain, recent injuries, or have questions about whether stretch therapy is appropriate for you, please reach out before booking.
-
Does it hurt?
No. You may feel a deep stretch, but we stay within a range your body can tolerate. We never force movement.
Do I have to be flexible?
Not even a little. In fact, most of my clients come because they aren't.
How often should I come?
It depends on your goals. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, while others come monthly for maintenance. We'll create a plan that fits your body and your schedule.
Will I get a workout?
No. This is passive movement—you'll be able to relax while I move your body.
Can I book if I'm pregnant/injured/hypermobile?
Please reach out before booking so we can make sure stretch therapy is appropriate and tailor the session to your needs.
